No theory at all, its fact. Just like its fact you don't have your game. I guess in these scenarios some people sadly lose out
Im not saying you should lose out, i very much hope you get your game and not end up as collateral damage for the project which in reality got out of hand for the small group of enthusiasts that decided to make it
That you opened an account just to respond my query and nothing else totally does not raise suspicion. :?

Thanks, brotherman. Sorry about that RedSpotGames trouble you're having. I hear you. Somehow, I have good faith on these guys. I've purchased three games through RedSpotGames myself; so I consider them as legit as any other gaming company. Just keep at it.
This is the first time I encountered an issue with RSG. The error actually caught me off guard since I messaged them two weeks ago and confirmed my purchases. The good thing is that they responded promptly and are willing to resolve the matter. Hopefully this issue will be brought to closure in the next few weeks.
If people who paid for the game still don't have their copies months after release, the situation didn't "get out of hand;" it was completely FUBARed. It's a simple issue of making enough copies for all your preorders (funny how enthusiast groups never have trouble taking preorder payments. All the problems only occur when it's time to deliver the product), as well as extras for replacements. How hard is that really? How is it possible for people to not get what they paid for when we're talking about a project this small? There weren't millions of copies made or orders to be filled. And it isn't as though these fellas are the first to do this. Hell, reading our forum's threads on Super Fighter Team's games and Pier Solar would be enough to give them an idea of the kinds of problems to avoid.
I still did not receive mine yet I paid back in October. I'm pissed. They said they would send me one 'free of charge' but I've yet to receive that one either. I don't think I'm interested in dealing with them again.
Only 250 copies were made, with another 50 for replacements. As of the last lot they sent out 2 weeks ago ( give or take a day or 2) they do not have any more extra copies and nor do they plan on making any. Kind of harsh really :(
250 copies and that's it? This does not compute... Why do they produce only so few copies ? And why do they sell at cost? Why not produce 1000s, increase the price to the point where they earn a couple of bucks (i.e. €39,99), and go with it until the market is saturated ? It makes no sense to make such an awesome product but then have people pay hundreds of dollars for a single copy by making it THE rarest game to ever be released. That's not how it works. Do a reprint ffs!
Same goes for SFT btw.
Well, they seem like a pretty small outfit. Getting the cash upfront to have 4 times as many carts made (250 vs 1000) is probably not trivial. Also, if you continue to manufacture copies until the market is saturated you will inevitably be left with extra stock that you need to sell and are unable to, and will have to take a hit on storing them and possibly selling them under cost and losing money. It's a lot easier if you open preorders, sell out, and then only fulfill those; NISA has been very successful with that model.
