I haven't played it myself, but I hear the SNES version plays better simply on account of having all the moves represented. There is some pretty dodgy collision detection going on in the SEGA/Saurus port due to the cut animations. Graphics and sound are not on par with the Genesis version though, I can see that by watching videos. Overall despite all that I still rate the Genesis game as a solid port - just a missed opportunity to have a near perfect one (sans Earthquake) - it's pretty clear an extra 8 meg would have achieved this IMO.
Like I said though, I haven't played the SNES port so someone correct me if I'm wrong.
