In 300, he pops up and kick ass for about 3 seconds of screen time, then is never mentioned again.
I'm not really one for blood 'n' guts, but the battle sequences in 300 are excellent.
Just seen The Illusionist. Wow, what a great film, I say keep these magic films coming.
Saw 'Smoking Aces' recently. That movie TOTALLY SUCKED.
Battlefield Earth:
Never saw it until just now, and wow, 7 years of hearing about it being the worst movie ever didn't prepare me for how bad it is. So bad it is downright funny, funnier than most comedies. I downloaded the rifftrax for it and it was hilarious.
Goodfellas arrived in the post today :D now that is a film.
Let's see. Sunshine. From the trailers I expected The Core - IN SPACE! WITH THE SUN! Luckily, it ended up as more of a mash-up between 2001: A Space Odyssey and Alien.
Good points? There's practically zero technobabble for a film set fifty years in the future; it's subtle, believable sci-fi.
Bad points? The plot twist isn't really explained. I can't really go into it without spoiling the film :(
Bottom line? It's a good film, but it still left me with a 'what the fuck' feeling at the end.
edit: Looking forward to Grindhouse. It's not out yet :(
edit2: And 28 Weeks Later. Loved the original.
I really want to see Transformers... I can see myself picking up a few of the action figures... I already have a list... but I won't go to basic traning until this fall.

Just seen Perfect Blue. Grand movie, and I'm not even much of a fan of anime. Wow, I really recommend this film to everyone who likes suspense driven affair.
And Children of Men too, which I just saw recently, another edge of your seat classic.
Ya, children of men was hella good.
The next movie i need to see is ATHF:MF4T
THE AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE MOVIE WILL BE ONE OF THE FUNNIEST MOVIES YOU'LL EVER SEE IN THEATRES. SEE IT NOW BEFORE IT HITS DVD NEXT MONTH.
Seriously, it's awesome if your a fan of the show.
If you don't see it, i'll cut you with a linoleum knife.
Also, I saw Norbit, and it was okay, but it's a shame the movie pretty much cost Eddie his oscar.
I saw this after arriving too late at the pictures to watch some other film, and to be honest I expected another V for Vendetta (quite possibly the most 'Internet cool' movie I've ever seen). I was pleasantly surprised to get an intelligent nihilistic thriller instead :)Quote:

Blades of Glory is the funniest movie to come out this year so far, and I don't just mean because it's April. This will probably be one of the funniest movies all year. And it's got Pam from The Office in lingerie, so that helps too.
