Oh shit, poor guy.

It's weird that Big Trouble in Little China hasn't been brought up yet.
Oh, and Bowsley, he didn't get director's credit (that I'm aware of), but Frank Darabont was one of the key players in the Blob remake. I think he wrote the screenplay, maybe... At least one of his "regulars" is in it, as well: Jeffrey DeMunn as the Sheriff.
I'll bet that you knew that, though.
Yes but I'd forgotten that fact so thanks. I really liked Jeffrey DeMunn, he was in a lot of good stuff. Speaking of Frank Darabont and Jeffrey DeMunn, I absolutely love Darabont's adaptation of the Stephen King short story, The Mist. A truly apocalyptic horror film.
Yes...
But I really didn’t like the “cute” ending. I think it was a perfect adaptation other than that.
"Cute" ending?! The only ending I remember is one of mind bending horror and regret. Yes, King's story had a more 'open' ending perhaps but it was no less bleak. I think the ending of Darabont's The Mist rivals that of Neil Marshall's The Descent (UK version) or John Carpenter's The Thing in it's apocalyptic nature. I'm not a fan of 'Hollywood' endings in horror films.
In a horror film, I want the ending to always leave the viewer in a bad mental state. The point is to frighten them and leave them unnerved.
Watched Caddyshack while I was Snowed in for the day
Nice one! '*Titter titter* Are you gentlemen under the impression that this is the real Quaid? Indeed it is!'
Finally saw the Last Jedi. Where as it took me a good half hour to realize that Force Awakens was starting to go downhill this one was instantaneous.
-Laura Dern was horrible. She made me remember why they usually cast British folk in that sort of part. So forced, so painfully forced. They may as well have as cast Winona Ryder or Keanu reeves in Drag . In fact she was even worse than Ken Leung in FA. Yes that is possible. They figured it out.
-How they sacrifice the cruiser was a little to similar to another certain Sci-Fi movie from 2009.
-A Casio There's a fucking casino in it. Let that sink in.
-Awful snarky humor though out.
-High School pep rally speech by Ms Dern like 15 minutes in.
-Carrie Fisher forgot her dentures which sucks for her after like 30 years of methadone treatments. They are trying to convince me she some saint but she looks and sounds like the crack heads that stole my car battery and bike. It's incredibly painful to watch. Don't blame her but the stress of it did kill her.
-Story that is sorta there but not really. Star Wars had a simple something they were doing, get the plans to Rebels, escape the Empire, blow up the Death star. Effects are there to support the story. This is just a mess. Common to most new movies but still does not help matters.
I could go on for like 20 pages. just don't see this unless you hate yourself.
The 1981 classic "Ghost Keeper." What a shit show.
Just watched Justice League.
DUMB.
Absolutely spot on. It was drivel from beginning to end. I took my nephew to see it and the only consolation was that he enjoyed it so it wasn't a complete waste of money. Actually, now that I think about it, maybe he just pretended to enjoy it to make me feel better. Aww, bless him.
