Holy shit was this game hard as hell! Finally beat it. The music was awesome and the graphics were top notch. Almost Amiga like actually.
But, does anyone else think the initial flying level was far too long?

I think almost all of the levels are too long, some more so than others.
Is imo the most impressive Mega Drive game ever made for GFX and effects - Its just a shame its so bloody hard
Yeah, the flying section of Two-Face's level was repetitive and dragged on forever, which is a pity since I really enjoyed the first battle with Two-Face beforehand where everything was collapsing. I'm surprised that Mr. Freeze's stages and Mr. Freeze himself didn't seem as difficult as the rest of the game too, though it was a bit of a nice breather after fighting The Mad Hatter.
Didnt feel like much of a Batman game to me. I'm not going to knock the game but to be honest there's other Batman games I'd rather play just because they feel more like Batman.
I agree it's not the best "Batman" game but it is a great game beyond the license.
The flying level is definitely the worst part. It breaks up the monotony at first but after a while enough is enough. I end up dying because I start getting lazy half way through it.
I also agree with Joe that all the levels are too long. If they were cut into more manageable bites I'd probably enjoy the game a lot more. As it stands I still really like the game it's just not one of my all time favorites.
I couldnt figure out why they didnt use those scaling and rotational like effects on the first level boss when it clearly could have used them.
The entire game is comprised of levels that are too long and therefore, too repetitive.
Hey, at least it looks and sounds nice.
I can't think of a single Amiga game that looks better. People overrate Amiga graphics a lot, though to be fair the system wasn't really ever pushed seriously.
It's a pretty good game, very pretty too. Not really a "batman" game but the NES one wasn't either and it's awesome too. The SNES game tries to be faithful and is in it's entirety more boring than the flying stage on this one.
Yes. Everyone.
Have you seen the original previews from Famitsu?

This game being hard is NOT a bad thing. It would have been much inferior had it been on the same difficulty as Ariel the Little Mermaid for instance.
