If they had a smarter CEO, then they could've got things done properly.
1. Get the Saturn on track. as in:
1. drop the manufacturing costs. Remove the cart slot and have the RAM upgrade built in, get rid of the battery RAM, get rid of other not-totally-necessary stuff.
2. apologize to retailers that weren't included in the surprise launch. Pretty easy, don't need to give them BJs or anything.
3. work day and night to develop a graphics library that makes the Saturn easier to program for.
Remember the PS3 and Saturn had the exact same problems, and looking at the PS3 now, its safe to say the Saturn could've been repaired.
THEN they could've launched the Dreamcast in late '99 in Japan, with a DVD drive and more RAM.
Well looking at Trekkie's link, its safe to say the Naomi 2 could blow the doors off the PS2 in terms of polygons.
