For it to be as ineffective it has to be a picture of your actual hardware that you own.

This qualifies me as an android expert:

Yep, completely un-related.
Although the model 1 genesis outputs crystal clear audio by default emulation somehow makes it sound better. TA fact #3.
Even though YM2612 emulation is mostly bad, MAME's emulation which is used for VGMPlay and in_vgm sounds as good as ever, and Hardware STILL sounds better.
In any case, if I want to be the head honcho around these parts, I'd better take a picture of all of my systems and games so everyone can bow down to me and worship me, even though I don't have that much of a collection. Just followin' the TA tradition, what can I say?
How am I flat out wrong? The video Kamahl posted is an extremely poor representation of Genesis sound. So is your video with all of its noise. The video I posted is from my own system (and also the only one I posted online from that game, I think). Different song or not doesn't matter (they are similar, though), but the sound quality does. I don't trust anything I hear on Youtube unless I post it myself.
Then you're a stubborn idiot and completely deaf.
They are the SAME game. Noise level or not, it IS real hardware. So look at you and your fucking macho VA2 (I'm going to assume that's the one you are using here). I'm just pointing out you are wrong. You said it wasn't really from the Genesis game and it was some cheap ass soundfont. That is not true. I listened to it, compared to my hardware, and to an emulator, it's the SAME fucking game.
Sometimes you're just flat out wrong and then you become an asshole and won't admit you were wrong.
You're walking on very thin ice, evildragon. You should tread carefully. Take your Ritalin.
For the sake of comparison Joe, would you mind uploading a recording of the same song Kamahl posted from real hardware? I'm interested to hear whats different.
Yep, same song, just a better recording than both of us.
But the video was far from being a cheap soundfont as you so claimed. You're claim that it was a soundfont was dead wrong, and that's what I was saying. It was merely a POOR recording.
Mine was better but had noise, because I'm not going to waste my time and hookup something with real line level inputs.
You sure lost your shit trying to say that. Regardless, that video is definitely a very poor representation of the Genesis sound and should not be used as an example unless you're trying to prove that the SNES sounds much, much better.
You're still on very thin ice, by the way. Your attitude needs improving not just towards me but to all members. And please stop reporting every post where someone disagrees with you on something and demand that we ban them.
Cool Joe, cool. Because you know for a fact your SoundFont claim was still wrong, and thus have no ability to admit you were wrong. So you're going to bring up me instead.
Yep, sounds about right for a Sega-16 admin.
Countless demonstrations of how the Genesis being better was already explained. And I took both sides as you can see, so I don't really give a shit. It's your claim that pissed me off tonight. Bad recording or a good recording, it wasn't a soundfont, and you were wrong.
