Is there an Ikea near you? They've always got great-priced, easy to assemble stuff.
I live in Orlando. This Ikea does not have great computer desks. I used this one (corner desk) and it works great.

I ended up building my own with a section of wooden kitchen worktop for the top, worked out a lot cheaper too.
Are you looking for a big desk, or just something like a small computer stand?
Office Depot has a large selection.

I would not suggest buying that cheap crap that Ikea sells. They have nice storage items, but the furniture is garbage.
I might have to build one myself.I don't see anything I want, and I don't need any of the extra stuff a lot of these desks have.
It's either Ikea or Office Depot for me, unless I want to brave Craig's list.
Nope, actually I only have a pantry from them but I've been eyeing their low profile futons for a while, my frame is too big for the room its in. My old computer desk was from Office Depot, basically the same kind of construction as IKEA would do. IKEA seems to emphasize small profile furniture for apartments though.
This is the set I have from Target:
Desk
File Cabinet
Bookshelf
I searched for months to find the perfect fit. They are very good quality for a bargain store piece, clean, easy to assemble, and best of all, they match my expensive bedroom furniture very well. In all my searching, it became abundantly obvious that Target carries the best furniture of all bargain options. I don't think you'll find anything better outside a specialty/furniture store for the price and quality.
My desk is from Ikea, its damn sturdy and huge.
