Yes a GG will work on it.
It's the only way you can get games like "Budokan" to work on it (no codes needed).
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Nomad what would happen if a Mega Drive and Game Gear reproduced? It was never relased in Europe either, was it?
No, it never saw a EU-release...sadly.
I´ve played it a few times, and for a 1996 handheld it was simply amazing! The first handheld to match it´s power came out years later, and that was the GBA.
It had a few major problems though: It sucked your batteries dry faster than you can imagine, it was pretty huge for a handheld (which I liked, because modern handhelds are too small for my hands), the cartridges´upper end looked out of the system and for RPGs the smaller screen made the text hard to read.
On the other side games did look pretty high res with the reduced screen size.
I wanna have one of those....
Your both about a year or so too late.
I had an extra Nomad in my possession and I had to sell it to pay off a bill.
But Nomad = portable Genesis
Sucks batteries like there is no tomorrow.
I beleive the emulation advances for the GP2X are moving forward quite nicely.
So if you own the carts, you can carry them all wth you on a flash card.
thats all i hear is emulation this emulation that no body have the real thing anymore but emulation.
Yeah, pretty soon it's going to be nothing but "Do0d, I've got all the Genesis games on a CD-R at home!"
I'm just suggesting a more cost-effective option.Quote:

Well, you could still hold it to the back of the GP2X... ;)
But yeah, I don't play things I don't own or think are insanely overvalued(well, some things I've tracked down in Japan, but I've not ordered yet. Why ship when I can stuff them in a bag...
Especially since I might be staying...
never mind i buy the sega nomad later but thanks anyways guys:) and happy new years!
Maybe my Ex bro-in-law could sell it to ya?
But I'd buy it first. ;)
They're rare, but not impossible to find at good prices.
i buy the sega nomad later.
ive got one but would rather play my megadrive on my arcade anyday over that little screen and awkward controls.
my friend had a nomad. he would bring it to work and play gunstar heroes on that bad boy haha. good times.
i have it the sega nomad is great but the only thing that i don't like about it is there no restart button.
In Soviet Russia, Nomad resets YOU!!
-_-
its not bad at all man i really like the thing its just i can't make game genie codes with it cause i don't know what codes work when i have to restart the game to see what codes works.
