When I say "bought" I mean it, no mortgage, 100% bought and paid for. Me and my girlfriend moved in saturday (2 days ago), I'll post some pics once stuff is more setup.
Also driving a 26 foot uhaul truck is pretty fun.

Neat! Congrats. I don't know how you managed to buy a house in Toronto, but that's pretty awesome dude.
That's awesome dude, congratulations. I can't wait until we finally move into a house. I've been renting for too long. I'm looking forward to pics of your game room once it's set up.
Congrats! That's the way to buy a house. Mortgage payments blow.
Do you accept cash? cha ching!
Congratulations. That's an achievement anyone should be proud of.
Congrats. Must be pretty awesome to buy a house wholesale these days.
Yeah, owning a house outright is quite an achievement! I've still got a mortgage on mine but it's still a great feeling to be able to come home to something that is "yours".
In Detroit, someone bought a house over for one single buck. Moral of sentence? Be glad you don't live in Detroit.
This quite an achievement, especially for someone living in Toronto. Houses are very expensive there.
That's my goal when I get a house... I don't want to make a mortgage payment for years and years... Congrats!
Nobody likes to talk about how much money they lose on interest over a typical 30 year note in the first five years. For some reason even financial advisers still call it the best investment one can make, when they are going to lose more than the value of the house's equity by_far in the first five years. That said, I pay a lot less per month than I did in a super small apartment and can't find a better deal even ten years after I signed the bank loan.
I probably won't be able to unpack more stuff until this coming weekend.
Congrats! I purchased my house 3 years ago, though I do have a mortgage. It's a great feeling to have your own place. :D

I guess I didn't want to get my own place until I had a good girlfriend who works and can pay for her half of things as well. Also deciding where to get your place is a huge deal because once you're there it's not exactly easy to move out. We have roughly 4x - 5x the amount of space we had when we rented a place. Also our monthly bills for this place come out to less than what we were paying in rent. The area we live in is nicer than the area we were renting in. Owning is win-win-win if you set it up right and make sure you're living with someone you can see yourself living with for umpteen years and who is reliable enough to help with the bills. Since I started dating my girlfriend at new years 2009 / 2010 we've gone from a rooming house to owning a house, it's just a matter of finding the right person and letting things naturally happen I suppose.
*edit*
I should also mention what we have is a townhouse. There's still lots of room on the inside but the taxes are much lower than a full sized house (and we have an external maintenance plan).
