^You can't take more than two at a time. If so, I already called for Sonic 2.
My buddy says he'll definitely take Sub-Terrania, maybe some sports games.
Putting you down for Alien Storm, and I'll await word on the sports game. :D
Adding now.
Do you have any suggestions for what would make it better? As MaxWar said, I've been updating the first post.
Yours.
Already claimed by blackbirdru.
To be honest I'm not 100% comfortable with that either, but we're trying to find a way of making the task manageable, and avoid putting completion on the shoulders of just 3-4 people. That said, everyone is absolutely welcome to set a higher bar for themselves, and it's great to have players on board like you who are willing to see the whole game through and play to a higher standard.
Oh, man, please don't let the general disdain for sports games keep you away. We desperately need folks like you who enjoy them. Personally I like tennis and golf games, and can get behind an occasional game of baseball, so I'm likely to play some or all of those genres during the year.
Definitely not required. I think we're gently encouraging everyone to go with games they haven't beaten, so more people can have the experience of beating Phantasy Stars, Disney games, etc. for the first time. But once we get about halfway through the year, getting the list finished becomes more important.
OK, I'm putting you down for Road Rash III and James Pond 2. We're trying to keep it down to 2 games claimed per person, except for sports games, but you're absolutely welcome to start on any of the other games after the year begins (if they're unclaimed).
^What he said. I'll put ReBirFh down for The Great Circus Mystery starring Mickey and Minnie and James Bond 007: The Duel.
Any chance he could register for the forums? That'd be helpful.
SHINING IN THE DARKNESS! SHINING IN THE DARKNESS!!! ME ME ME!!!
and also SHADOWRUN!!!
Dunno, probably not to be honest, but its possible.
If you need a nickname just call him "Rimmer" or "Eric from Dungeons and Dragons", that's what we do.
I'll take Mystic Defender if it hasn't been claimed yet, I owned it as a kid and should be able to blast through it with relative ease.
I'll put you down for Shining in the Darkness, but claiming two popular RPGs is excessive -- most people don't work on two RPGs at once, and we don't want people cherry-picking all the sexy titles and leaving the rest of us to muddle through the dross. If no one else claims Shadowrun, though, you're welcome to start on it as soon as you finish SitD.
It'd be great if he could, even just a token post, since this is really supposed to be a Sega-16 members event.
I don't think I want to know the story behind that nickname.
Yours!
