My eBay username is flatuswalrus and I will be listing stuff probably on a weekly or fortnightly basis so if you want to add me and keep checking in that would be good. I would prefer not to do and wheeling or dealing off eBay and SegaAge as it will be too much for me to keep track of, but just wanted to let everyone know as I have many, many, many, many games, consoles and accessories to get rid of.

Aww, I'm sad to hear about this. I guess that means there will be no new episodes except maybe for an "empty shelf where my stuff used to be" episode?

So many nice items there. But the shipping price from Australia would probably be outrageous.

I think he's aiming for an Obi-Wan-esque lifestyle, actually. (He mentioned becoming a hermit and selling off material possessions, so presumably he's planning to come to the rescue of a talented young hero in about 40 years.)

Yes, international shipping is an absolute bitch! Especiall to the U.S. as they charge an extra $9 on top of the ordinary postage cost if the item is over 500g.

Yeah it kind of sucks seeing it all go, but is for something I want more so am happy at the same time to see it all go.

Thanks, I am sure they will sell. Though, for what price I don't know. Starting them at 99c is a bit of a risk, but one I am willing to take.

Do you offer any kind of reduced/discounted shipping if a US bidder wins multiple items?

(Assuming that the total shipping cost actually is lower, of course, and apologies if this is mentioned somewhere in the auction and I've just missed it. Probably the shipping will still be sky-high with just 1-2 items, but maybe if someone won 3+ it would start to cost less than AU$14.50 each?)

Yeah I sure do, I only ever charge what it is costing me to send, I "might" charge a dollar for packing materials if the packaging is a decent size but that's about it. It is expensive to ship to the U.S. from Australia as the U.S. is the only country in the world that incurs an extra $9 charge on top of the regular shipping fee if the package weighs over 500g (which isn't much). Three games from here to there normally costs $28.90 + $9 = $37.90 for standard airmail (going by the website).

Hey, thanks for the quick reply. And yeah, Australian shipping costs are brutal, especially AU > US! It's not as bad going the other way -- I recently sent a package there that was just under 1kg, and I think it cost around $20US.

Yeah some countries are worse than others and Australia seems fairly expensive to ship out internationally. Only way it would be worth it I guess would be if you were getting something really rare or something dirt cheap where the shipping costs don't matter so much, oh well.

Some are still pretty damn low so may be a good chance to grab some stuff without breaking the bank. I am going to try and conjure the motivation to list about 400 - 500 items in the next lot which will probably take me an entire day to do. Laziness is a curse!

Mate I am agree'ing with your reasoning for this, move out bush or whatever.

Over the last 3-4 weeks 3 cars have either been stolen or attempted stolen in my street.

The last one was a doozy, the guy across the road had his Hilux attempted to be stolen. They started it, panic'ed at the volume of the exhaust launched it out of the drive way lost control and wrote it off by hitting the truck (one of those gardening trucks with a solid steel cage on the back) next door to us.

Fuck I hate living here.
