Supposedly the same source that supplied IGN with the info on VF5 just obtained a new tidbit.
Tekken 6 may be shifting over to the 360 as well.
Since Tekken is shit anyway ( ;) ) it's still a wonder if this will affect anyone at all.
Besides, it's little more than a likely rumor right now.
But it's still something to throw out there.
Not many people would care about VF 5, but Tekken 6 would be a major blow for Sony!
hmm, it seems like the prospects of losing such big name titles would be one of the last things sony would want with the ps3. If too many of those titles go to the cheaper xbox360, it certainly will make it harder for the consumer to justify the ps3 purchase. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

It already has. I wait for MGS4 to do the same. Then I will have no reason to buy the PS3 at all.
And where do you have that info from? I havenīt seen anyhing save the rumor yet. And I certainly hope it proves to be false.Quote:

yeah, i was just telling my brother last night if mgs4 goes to xbox360 (which doens't sound that far fetched of an idea), it will really hurt the ps3. so if eventually that does prove to be true, sony better have some more exclusives to warrant the price point.
I don't really care if it's not a PS3 Exclusive. I'm not a fanboy and don't cry about things like this, I prefer it to be released multi-platform so other console owners get the chance to play such a great game. Tekken 6 looks great, I can't wait to get it.

THe rumor of the port comes from the alleged possibility of Konami presuring Kojima for a port if the PS3 sells bad enough to be unprofitable (as it was with RE4 and the PS2 port. . .the cube didn't have the numbers to justify keeping RE4 exclusive).

The problem with RE and the Cube was that the GameCube never sold nearly as good as hoped. But so far the PS3 does well. Sales are lower than with the other consoles since there simply arenīt more units available. Just a few days ago an American research institute concluded that the PS3 will still probably turn out to win this war, although probably not as superior as the PS2.
This may or may not be true, but it is unlikely the PS3 will fail like the Gamecube did.
The reason I support the PS3 is that the other competitor is Microsoft. I find a Microsoft market dominance much more frightening than anything else. Just look at the PC buisiness. For 95% of mankind using a computer means using Windows.
Noone but a few freaks could even imagine a PC running with something different.
Computer-classes are Windows and MS-Office casses.
The feeling that maybe they will make Trip Hawkinīs mad 3DO-dream of a console standard true makes me shiver.
Sony at least had a big role in making the videogames-market as big as it is today, and I think they earned some reputation for that. Microsoft just waited ītill it was big enough and decided to take it over no matter the cost.
If it wasnīt Microsoft I would be more open to the newcomer...
Remember when Dreamcast was supposed to get its own version of Tekken 3?
