I was looking for good CRT TV for retro gaming and I found this TV being auctioned on mercadolibre: SONY WEGA KV-32HS510 ,

what I like about this TV is that it supports HD definitions (480p for Dreamcast) but I don't know how old systems with 15khz CGA resolutions will look, can someone recommend this and how much do you think should I pay for this TV?

Those TVs are really nice but aren't the best for older systems as it upscales the 240p and you don't get scanlines. But if you are using it for watching TV and newer consoles like PS2 and dreamcast it is an all around great TV. Having the DVI for HD is also really nice. I don't know what the TV market is like where you live but I can find those TVs for $40-50 easy on craigslist all the time here and I wouldn't want to spend more than $40 for one personally.
Yeah, well.. the seller is now asking $380 USD for the TV, so..fuck it.
That's bullshit. I got my 2nd Sony KV-32HS420 for $500, when Fry's was clearing them out in 2005. He's not going to have any luck selling it at that price.
I'd pay $35 - $50 for it.
Put it out on my curb and the crackheads will cut the cord and smash it for the little bit copper in the back if that gives you an idea of what they are worth these days.
$380? I don't think he can get that price anywhere in the planet. I just recently spent 4 years in Ecuador, and no one is dropping that kind of money on a SDTV anymore (no matter how big it is) - People would sooner spend more money on a smaller HDTV or spend much less on a SDTV.
In North Jersey, pawn shops won't accept them anymore. I had a tough time giving a 32 inch away, and a 28 inch went out to the curb. I realize that the specs are better on the the TV you're showing us, but at the end of the day it's still a SDTV that most people want to replace with a HDTV.
I would reach out to friends that are looking to get rid of their SDTVs in favor of a HDTV. You'll probably get what your looking for at a fraction of the cost (if not free). I'm sure SDTVs are still very common in Uruguay, but I would doubt that people are dropping more than $250 (new) on them anymore.
