I Play Team Fortress Classic, Team Fortress 2, and sometimes Quake (on the rare occasion anybody is actually online)

Steam hecosean. I play tf2. Well I've not been playing I. Six months but I've got over 4000 hours logged in that game.
Rather than deal with friend requests and all the bullshit that comes with it, I just threw up a public Sega-16 steam group.
Join it if you want, I'll tag the mods here as officers if they should show up.

I have a Steam account, but I don't play Team Fortress. I'm playing newer games like Mafia 2 and Metro 2033.
Scrounging up for upgrades atm so I'm rather out of the game for the time being, but yes I do have a steam.
I too have steam, but I mostly use it to spend time in Gmod (3538 hours and counting).
There's just something charming about being able to program assembly inside of a game.

Wiremod, the mod that adds logic circuits and comparators and whatnot to gmod also adds E2, CPU ,SPU and GPU.Quote:

Sadly it's abused by many to create stuff like black spheres with inverted faces and parenting them to people's heads (blinds them).
There's also CPU, SPU and GPU (central, sound and graphic processing units).
These allow you to write assembly code for a virtual cpu structure with a spritebuffer and other nifty things.
Once compiled they will run clientside which means they run way faster than serverside stuff like E2.
I've used GPU to program various graphical demos and interractive stuff in-game like a PONG clone and a Space Invaders clone.
I've also used E2 to script stuff like walkers that utilize realtime inverse kinematics and bezier curves to calculate and plan steps based on direction and velocity for example.
Wiremod is basically essential to me in gmod nowadays and I'm not sure if I could go back to working with simple stuff like just a numpad opperated actuator ;)
