Oh and don't forgot about the premimum fees. Sony would be lucky to set the fee at $90.

Plus Sony didn't disclose whether or not used games would be blocked and didn't say if they were in physical media. The Unit has a BD drive yet they didn't disclose whether games would use the media.

All they talked about was downloading and streaming games.

Plus I wonder why they didn't reveal its prototype. And BTW, most of the 3rd party lineup isn't exclusive at all.

You're offering dismissive arguments to what was presented, all hinged on speculation that Sony is somehow going to fuck over everybody intentionally with ulterior motives. The fact that you blame any positive feedback or accomplishment to their strategy on unintelligent fanaticism for their brand is yet another reason I think you're a troll and an idiot.

You have already posted in other threads that you hate Sony and want to see them fail, that you tolerate Microsoft, and that you hate the Wii U.

They have to chance to phase them out of the hardware business with new hardware and have 2 options that could do it pretty effectively: The Tablet, or an from the ground up game console using Ray Tracing(in the form of a chip) From Imagination Tech, and Nvidia's Denver ARM set which would guarantee lower cost hardware, or go budgetary like they use to and build a SH-16 from Denver's design.

I was expected to be impressed. I was kind of underwhelmed. But they didn't really show us anything to get excited about. No real games footage that was interesting. The eye toy camera looked interesting. Oh and they did say that games would be on blu ray and that you could use the streaming service to try put games as well. I think e3 will be more revealing. As far as the architecture, on one hand they are smart to move closer to the PC. On the other hand, without any more specs or actual games running its really hard to gauge how powerful it will be. You can look at it as a powerful PC unburdened by windows with fast andlentiful memory, or as having specs similar to my 3 year old PC ( which was top of the line and ai t to shabby.) nothing announced yet has made me want to by one and frankly I'm more excited about my Wii U this holiday season. But I expect to hear more to persuade me closer to launch and hopefully at e3.

It was underwhelming to me to. But one thing I have just wondered with the DRM thing how is this looked upon in Japan? Does anybody know if it will be able to play PS2 and PSx games out of the box.

no, that's nto what I meant :roll: you said sony wouldn't release the playsation 4, or any new hardware :L

also sony';s first party games are by far and beyond the best currently in the business.
