You got a bid, I'm surprised at that price. Back when I was in the market for an SMS (maybe 4-6 months ago) CIBs were going for about $120. I hope you get the money!
It was really a lucky guess. I based that price on completed listings and the fact this thing is a more uncommon system bundle.
Has Ed forgiven you for putting this on ebay yet?
No he hasn't. He's still mad that I'm selling stuff I don't play (like that CIB SMS) to fund things I actually want.

I'm really surprised. Looking at the sold listings, prices for the CIB are all over the place. Not only do some still sell for the price I said, but also some are going for double or triple that price. WTF is up with that?
I was wondering why the starting bid seemed so expensive. If it's something that you have no affinity with or are not using, you might as well get rid of it. So far you are not doing too bad: Bidding is now at $304.00 USD or $312.92 CAD. :)Quote:

I've never particularly liked the Master System, the majority of the games are bland and uninteresting. But concerning this particular item, it's because it's a boxed system. I can't stand cardboard boxes anymore, they're way too fragile and get destroyed easily. That goes double for system boxes, because they're so large. You can go all the way down to the $110-120 range and get the same kinda thing as the ones that go for $300. The fact yours is a Canadian version I don't think has anything to do with it.
I'd imagine a Canadian version is pretty rare though.
