Especially since documentation for this kind of thing is generally in such a poor state, I wouldn't mind seeing some discussion on the process of burning a patched CDR from beginning to end. I would particularly like to know exactly how to make a perfect ISO of one of my Jpn games, patch it and then put it back to a CDR with reasonable confidence.

Well considering people use Windows/Linux/Mac/etc the patch will probably come as both a ppf patch and as an exe (for the windows folk)
so you just make a bin/cue image out of your disc with a program like ImgBurn and then patch it with the exe, or if you have linux/mac/etc you get a ppf patcher and patch the disc image.

It's actually pretty simple, very similar to patching Snes/Nes/Genesis/etc roms.

Then with a program like ImgBurn you just burn the bin/cue as a disc.

Remember that your Saturn has to be modded for it to read burned discs though.

Ugh, I wish my soldering skills weren't like 5 year old levels, I obviously need a modded Saturn bad.

You could always use SSF to play this on a PC. That's probably what I'll day. It has mouse support as well.

I played the Playstation version on ePSXe, it's a pretty good game. Probably better than Snatcher really.

I played both games multiple times and I think snatcher is the better game for storyline. although policenauts has grown on me over the years and it's the better "game"

Other than the Guncon2, which is a giant pain in the arse to use on a CRT monitor, not really no.

You might be able to use a Wiimote though.

Played the PS version with the patch. Loved it!
But yeah as of now early 2015 the work on the Saturn version still looks far off in the distance.

^so awesome! i played it on PSP back when the PSX one was done years ago, grabbed a saturn copy on the cheap...art book aside, what's different?
this is great for a replay though!
