Sheath, in the past few weeks you've mentioned this game quite a few times. Is "Anarchy Reigns", be it the PS3 version or the XBOX 360, any different from "Mad World" on the Wii? When the game was released, it was sold at price point much less than other games within the genre. I was concerned that the gameplay was as weak. Maybe even weaker than what I experienced when playing "Mad World". Is that game any good?Quote:

I mean if they would have made SORR an original title called "Beat Em Up" with 3 original characters, that engine, different backgrounds, original youtube musician music and put it on kickstarter for roms to be played on Genesis emulators or flash carts or DC or PC instead of making a SOR megamix because Sega never released a SOR4, it may have been a homegrown hit. I mean 2D 16-128 bit is coming back anyway. (Look at Super Mario 2 Wii U or Sonic 4 Android and stuff). It could have raised more than Cheetahman 2 the fixed last levels "ha ha".
The best thing Sega could do is get SORRemake on XBLA and PSN. There's no way they could make a new SOR that's as good as that one.
I haven't played Mad World on Wii at all, so I can't compare. From what I have played of Anarchy Reigns it has a full featured group combat system with all the usual trimmings including side stepping, blocks, counters and throws and supers. I'm not having as much fun with it as the Batman Arkham games, and don't find it as technically advanced and challenging as Spike Out Battle Street or Golden Axe Beast Rider. In fact, I haven't played Anarchy Reigns in weeks, but it seems to have a ton to do in its little futuristic world.Quote:

I'm all for free games and nor caring about old kind of games, but at the end of the day copyrights are copyrights and if something is technically illegal, it is illegal, even if I don't care about certain laws and I still understand them. I mentioned Sega didn't care about Sonic hacks and more for free. But you know what wasn't a donation, flagging videos and getting accounts deleted simply by SAYING Shining Force II in video or showing video footage of it, which nobody else cared about before, just because they are making new game.

But it's original at least, and almost done. They said it is coming soon and I saw videos recently of it. They won't have all those years wasted like SORR did at least. It could of been abundant and had even more indie hype, now it's reclusive and just looked at as a SOR megamix.

Good, glad they FINALLY apologized after MONTHS. Can you link me to where you got that quote from ? And how will everyone on youtube who got affected be aware of that quote ? How will that help people who got their youtube ACCOUNTS deleted because Sega flagged multiple videos on their account ? "Looking into it" doesn't mean "reversing those actions" or even doing anything really unless they are working with the 100 employees at youtube. Still a scumbag move. It was. Period. Thanks for donation proof. Even without donations Sega COULD of pulled it anyway and had a right to, like I said.
