So after NFL 2k5 was a hit, EA monopolized NFL games because people actually liked 2k5 and it was cheap so EA signed a long term deal but I heard they did another deal again, wonder how much that cost them?

Idiot. Inking a deal with one sports organization for exclusive rights is not anti-trust.
They didn't lock up football games, they locked up NFL branded football games & NFLPA rosters. There's a difference, a huge difference.
It's why 2K made this:

Monopoly on what? The NFL brand?
You honestly think the government should have stepped in to piss on the deal between the NFL, NFLPA & EA despite there being no monopoly on football games, or blocked access to other leagues?
Do you know how retarded that sounds? "Big business did something competitive that I disagree with, let's fucking cry about it and spew delusional rhetoric about monopolies and anti-trust legal issues!"
It sucks for the NFL, cutting on diversifying their brand's connections to customers. But EA paid up front for that privilege. NFL took on that brand risk. Big fucking deal. They could still make football games at 2K, and they did. Case closed. Get over it.
