All this is nice and dandy, but just one controller for each system? (6 ports)
So let's say I want to play Contra 3 with someone, then only one of us can have a SNES controller and the other will have to use either some form of wireless controller or substitute controller with equal amount of buttons?

Clearly Nintendo-focused. I won't hold my breath that it may have propper Genny emulation.:(

No support for Game Gear or 32x? Seems somewhat inconsiderate.
I always thought these systems were pretty convenient but there is a certain novelty of running the old hardware that is irreplaceable. Ruskin would approve.

There's no fucking way this isn't an emulator. Bummer. I'm still interested to see how it turns out. Hopefully someone from here will pick one up and test the shit out of it when it's released.

They just tossed in Famicom support and changed the 4 to a 5.

I don't think so. They just showed one side of the console that had ports for Genesis/MD, NES/Famicom and SNES/SF, so I'm assuming it's the same way on the other side. It's not like there are any other controllers they need to support.

For me cheap clones will never be able to replace the real deal hardware. the originals look so much better and are much more reliable, except maybe the front loading NES which crap compared to the Toploading NES.

This is what the RetroN4 has become. It's been replaced by the RetroN5.
This console can either be the most awesome clone console since Famiclones first became legal in 2005 or it will be the most overhyped piece of shit ever released since then. Hyperkin has had a recent history of promising so many features, then cutting corners like crazy when the final product is released. They've done this since the RetroN3 Version 1 was first released, so I'm still not really gonna give a favorable opinion on this until I see some capture footage of the console.

I think they were probably referring to how it works on an HDTV. I personally don't believe that it's 100% compatible with all games, but here's hoping.

If they can do what they say it can do with music and fix spacing of pixels for 720p upscale.. Should be interesting... Stick an everdrive on each slot and you got a winner!!

Wow. I... I think I want this. If it works with SFT and WM cartridges, I'm sold.
