Loyalty and passion to a brand is one thing. Overvaluing that personal enthusiasm, by comparing and pissing on Sonic fans, the vocal minority who pretty much ensured Sega didn't die over the past two decades, is ridiculous. To suspend rationality in favor of regurgitating the same prediction & speculation time after time, having it never come to pass, is also ridiculous.
You're used to being laughed at or argued with? Perhaps you should accept and weigh the criticisms you're presented.
We're all fans of Sega, old and I'm sure for the most part a lot of us think new Sega is better than most 3rd party publishers for fan service. You haven't clarified any reasons as to why they should be relevant in a hardware context these days though. Teenagers don't know or want Nintendo or Sega, they want Xbox or Playstation because it's all they know. The mainstream knows Nintendo, Apple, and Google. Little kids like Nintendo, but they also like whatever teenagers tell them to like, because "big kids are cool and awesome" & all that nonsense.
Sega is like Atari, that one thing that mattered at christmas time 20 & 30 years ago that nobody really thinks about anymore. How would they compete? Who would buy Sega consoles aside from older people like us who have too much work? How would they do any better than the awesome hardware we can get from microsoft, or sony? If they market new hardware, doesn't it stand to reason that they would go for the new and popular market we all feel shunned from enjoying anyway? Anybody aiming for the retro scene is going to regress to irrelevance by the mainstream. Why would Sega even matter? They have the ability to create content and new games to make money right now.
Why should they suddenly sink a fortune into locking themselves to one platform while trying to pull in 3rd party support? What could they possibly offer that currently isn't on the table? Why would we expect a company who's workforce left over a decade ago, to continue to bleed innovation in a crowded hardware market just because they earn money above operational costs for a few cycles?
If everybody was as absurd and optimistic as you, Sega would naturally have a boost in stock value, more capital & leverage to do stupid things like burn themselves to death in an already declining, risky, crowded market. The amount of delusional bullshit you offer leads me to assume you have more than a few bucks locked up in their stock and just want to pump and dump it, A relatively flat stock, more than anything.

Not sure if sarcasm.
I believe this guy is a shill that diminishes the community by expressing his circular logic. Everything he talks about is Zoltor level absurdity, only masked with decent grammar. There's no need to police bullshitters like this, but there's no reason to not call him out on it either.
