It would also explain how and why this logo got... leaked.

Public transport is usually a piss filled joyful wonderland already.
I fail to see how a Sega Absorbi diaper console would make things any worse... or better... if you're into that sort of thing... Eh, MrSega?

I agree it doesn't.
Its just been dismissed as fake by some people who haven't proved at all it is.(Their accusing it of being fake just because the logo is not light blue) And haven't even bothered googling the many various Japanese Sega consoles,Arcade fliers,BIOS, and games where the logo was not just always light blue and occasionally had a slight different shape to each letter.
They also haven't even bothered to even watch for it to show up in the Trademark office. Which will prove beyond a reason doubt whether or not its fake.
In questioning the font, The logo is shaped in the same form as the "Let's Go Island" flyer:

The "e", "g" letters are also slightly off in the flyer.
And as for the odd shaped "A". It also appears in the Universal Naomi Arcade cabinets. It appears that the odd shaped "a" is it bit rare, but its not completely fake.

For now, I doubt its fake. We'll have to see whether or not it appears in the US Trademark office. Seeing that its from Japan,(which its very very RARE that something like this would be hoaxed in Japan. Let alone anything Sega related, most fan made SEGA stuff and hoaxes hail from America,Canada,South America) I stand by the face value of it being somehow legit. Especially seeing that there's nothing in the image that reveals, hints or describes anything. The logo and the translated text don't describe or disclose a single clue about anything. Since the text is pure katakana Japanese, an non Japanese speaking person or someone even fluent in it, couldn't have photoshopped it. There's no such thing as a non NTSC-J PC that allows you to type or font Katakana text.
I also question what would the motive be of a Japanese person pulling off a hoax. I don't remember or CANNOT recall a single time any source or information that came from Japan SEGA related turning out to be fake. All the fake reports have always come from outside of Japan.
Also, there's the possibility that someone from the R&D office just quickly threw together the flyer/image and sent it out from Haneda. That its not running off the official company commerce or promo database.
No, they proved it was fake from the fan logo on image (instead of real Sega one).

By calling you Keith, I was joking. Error.
It's just a theory that it might be fake. Nobody has proven beyond a reasonable doubt anything.
Sega`s logos varies. From the looks of it, its an unofficial flyer using probably a cropped logo someone at the office put together quickly. But the trademark indeed may be legit. That will be the final judgement, whether or not it shows up in the Trademark office. Its jumping to conclusions dismissing it as fake just because the logo is unofficial.
