Do want! Can these still be bought? Is there an NTSC Genesis version?

AFAIK it was only released in Japan.
Yep, Japan only. I'd love to see pics of the game's PCB. Too bad JP Mega Drive carts are impossible to open.
You mean... I can't have this??

I's sad now.
Its a great piece of hardware and a fantastic piece of history. It goes to show you that SEGA does belong in the console business. They just needed to stop making such terrible business decisions.(I'm talking to you CSK.) SMS truly, madly, deeply deserved strong 3rd party support and loads of NES ports.
I think we need more Master System over here.
Also, does anyone knows how to beat that Mandala boss in Shinobi?I can only beat him with all my power-ups and a good dose of luck.
Continuously jump and attack at close range. You'll have to move to the left a bit when the enemy stacks get too close. The second part with the face on the wall is all about placing yourself in the right spot to jump over the fireballs and attack when you're mid jump.
NeoZeedeater has summarized it quite well. Just to expand on his statement a little further, you will aim to shuriken both the top and bottom statue in succession. the only way you will be able to achieve this is by jumping consistently.
In terms of the actual boss fight, position the sprite the the middle left of the screen so that the projectile being lobbed at you just misses you. If you've found the sweet spot, it's a question of (again) jumping and throwing shurikens at the face. Good luck! :D
I went into the Toyworld today where my brother inlaw is the manager. My sister and I also worked there way back in the early-mid '90's. I took a pic of the shelf with the old Sega stickers. The pic is a bit blurry as I was arguing with my son who was more interested in the toys.

Have asked if the shelves ever get changed (which I doubt) could I get dibs on the shelving with the stickers on them (there are about 4 or so).
I like the fact the SMS has a small self contained library, its something you could collect & fully explore and indulge in, it really irks me reading posts from people who collect and never get round to playing any of their huge collections, games are meant to be played and shared.
I think as time has gone by, every new system released, hundreds of games, it would take half a life time to collect every title I'd be interested in on every platform, the other half would be spent playing them. Lifes too short.
