WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?
The whole idea sounds dumb. AVGN may be popular, but he's no sellout.
Pat The NES Punk did as well. And acted like a jackass when he was called out on it.
Greg Pabich scammed a whole lot of people with this "Cheetahman II" pyramid scheme.
I don't blame James. All he did was endorse it and wasn't involved in it.
But seriously, most of AVGN's fans have way too much time on their hands. Wii U? Really? They seem to think only Nintendo fanboys like AVGN. Look I know he used to be signed to that "Big Nintendo fanboy site" GameTrailers, but the man parted ways with them over a year ago.
It might be coming to other consoles... But Nintendo just made it crazy easy for indy developers to get their games on Wii U with the current lack of sales. So that's why it's coming to Wii U and 3DS. It'll also be on Steam. And if it does well, maybe PS3/4 and Xbox 360/720 later.
If Sega had a console I'm sure it would be on there too.
How much do you think James Rolfe is getting paid for this ? I get the impression that he lives a moderate lifestyle and isnt super wealthy but I dunno for sure.
Apparently you took that review as gospel. Since none of it was to be taken seriously... As it was suppose to seem like a crazy "angry if you will" nintendo fan boy doing a shitty review. I'm a huge SEGA Fan and a huge AVGN fan... I enjoyed watching that Sega CD & 32x review. They're funny! And most of us can at least relate a little to the frustration of these consoles despite how much we love them. /rant
James Rolfe is a very middle class Jersey-an(I know, he's lived in Philadelphia since '08). He's never used any of his success for his own gain and has always lived well in his means as an adult. Most fans over the years have donated games and accessories. And the money he's made usually goes to new film-making equipment.
Rofle keeps doing Nerd, because its his own means of success and notoriety. Even though its gotten stale. He can't leave well enough alone.
