The first one is the European console, the one in the middle is the Korean version and the one on the right is the Japanese console.
ugh horrible color schemes on the two on the right.

Honey Bee adaptors won't get you 60hz, no, you need to mod the system for that. While you're at, you can add a Japanese switch in and widen the cart slot (or use a Game Genie), thus bypassing the need for an adapter altogether.Quote:

I found on ebay sega mega drive 1 and 2 moded on 60hz what is better to buy mega drive 1 or 2...and can i play all region games on that moded consoles or i must hack them
The earliest version mega drive 1 without startup message, plays a few more games. Not important to most users.
region lock was optional. many games ignore region. or use it only for language and/or speed.
A mega drive console can be modded for up to 4 modes.
50hz + english
50hz + japanese
60hz + english
50hz + japanese
though "50hz + japanese" is rarely used. no official games require that, and often modders or emulator writers leave it out.
mega drive 1 or 2 on 60hz + english is same thing then? i look on ebay there is moded consoles for buying so is same thing mega drive 1 o3 2 or one of them is better ,)Quote:
