I've never been a huge Microsoft fan, but I will buy what I think is the best product. So I bought an original Xbox even though I didn't like the company, and even with its truncated life, I liked it better than the PS2 (which I still don't own). But that move of crapping all over their fans by pulling all support for the Xbox right at its prime has meant I will never again buy one of their consoles, especially considering the direction they are moving (trying to bilk more and more money out of people with online payments). I don't know where the future of gaming is going, but if I have to pay monthly fees, etc., then it will go on without me.
