Zelda: ALttP (if you never played the SNES version)
In fact, any SNES ports if you don't own or plan to get a SNES
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Pokemon Emerald (best of Ruby and Sapphire)

Let's see... already recommended Dragon Warrior III for the GBC...
Final Fantasy I+II Dawn of Souls, Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI Advance, Lunar Legend (which isn't half as bad as some rabid Lunar fans would have you believe)... is the Shining Force remake for the GBA any good, I wonder?

Shining Force has it's ups and down. In some areas it's better than the Genesis version in other areas it worse. The storyline is better that is for sure but some of the spells have been changed around and some of the characters are weaker. If you're a SF you should get it IMO.
