I can't answer that to you. I don't browse Nintendo age. And i'm not here because i'm a Sega fan nor because i'm a Nintendo fan who likes to troll Sega fans. I'm a retro game fan and i became a member here because i was impressed by a few people's technical expertise and knowledge.Quote:

Idiot Sega fans have just as stupid input on things as idiot Nintendo fans . . . there may be a LOT more of the latter out there (and active), but that's no reason not to compare apples to apples here. :p (I use the term fanboy for those types in general)
There also may be a much higher percentage of Sega fans who are reasonable (given the smaller portion of Sega fans in general) compared to reasonable Nintendo fans, but that's only because there's more newcomers and layman fans and such (any ignorant fans/fanboys as such), so it explains the large number of idiot fanboys there.
That said, given the much larger number of active Nintndo fans, I'll still bet the number of normal/reasonable/intelligent/informed Nintendo fans (or appreciators if you will) still greatly outnumber Sega-centric contemporaries, and that even goes for retro-enthusiasts specifically.
Of course, having a high percentage of cool and decent people around (percentage wise) in the Sega retro enthusiast comunity makes for much less crap to wade through and is a big part of what makes Sega-16 what it is. :p (or Atariage for that matter)
And likewise, why even the best Nintendo contemporary examples still fall far short (Nintendoage comes the closest from what I've seen so far, but there's still tons of BS all over and from multiple directions -collectors, fanboys, etc). Then again, the Neo Geo community is still probably worse. :p
This topic is about SM64 being boring and broken while SA is better. I disagreed (just my opinion) and then the OP argued about the great reviews SA got to prove its superiority, as if SM64 didn't get any. And i only mentioned that SM64 actually got much better reviews as a counter argument. Personally, i don't really care about reviews and i never use them as an argument to show how bad/good a game is. Then another member quoted me and told me that my opinions should not be taken seriously (since i appear that i like a Nintendo game) because Sega fans say so. And because Sega fans are apparently the most respected/experienced/whatever people then it must be true. How pretentious. So i tried to answer to that. I didn't ignore SM64's reviews. I simply pointed out that Sonic Adventure got great reviews too.
My personal opinion is that Mario 64 is a boring, broken game and that Sonic Adventure is better. And I don't think it's fair for Sonic Adventure to get bashed while Mario 64 get's endless praise when it has the same problem to a worse degree. In fact there are some people who actually praise Mario 64's broken camera system.
Frankly, i don't feel like SA gets bashed that much. Sonic 2006 gets bashed, yes. Most recent Sonic games get bashed. In fact, most of the time i hear people say SA or SA2 are the best 3D Sonic games all the time. Personally, i think it gets too much praise and for that i find it overrated. Funny thing is that it actually is one of the best 3D Sonic games indeed, although that doesn't say much.
And when people criticize it, its mostly about the voice acting (because it has full conversations that get in the way), the obnoxious style, Sonic's friends and maybe the floaty controls and some glitches. These are the main problems people have with this game, the camera isn't as bad in comparison.
