sega reboots and sequels

at times i poke around on gamefaqs ( today i was non plussed by jedi knight mysteries of the sith and looked for an FAQ and the controls are doing my head in ) when i came across this top 10 http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/top10/2587.html
sega games that could benefit from a reboot

so here i am wondering what others on this forum think of that list
and off course other sega games that could benefit from a reboot

for me it would be indeed panzer dragoon saga

sonic the hedgehog could also use a reboot and a whole reappraisal of the series ( then again i heard colors and generations did just that )

fighting vipers could use a reboot or just a sequel as wel

streets of rage i dont really care for this series ( and i dont like the music either ) but sega has left it rot in limbo for long enough now and double dragon has been dragged out of the gutter and remade
final fight has been ported to psn so why not streets of rage ?

daytona ...yes just that daytona or a port of daytona 2 that would be cool too

shining force another series that needs to be dragged out of the gutter ( and the shining the series as well )

shenmue ...fuck that reboot noise hd remake maybe a collection of shenmue 1 and 2 and then an actual shenmue 3
as if that will ever happen

Daytona USA has an arcade perfect port on PSN for PS3.

Other than that, Sega has a big library at their fingertips. I hope they do something with it. I want Virtua Racing to come back like Daytona did.

i know i have that port
i just wish they woudl do something more with the series
or at least port daytona usa 2

and sega has a hueg librayr at their finger tips but they seem to be content to whore out their 16 bit titles ( and sonic ) and let the rest of their legacy rot
especially the 32 bit games

I think that 90s Racing Game Kickstarter is the Sega reboot for racing games that we never received. Looks pretty sweet.

We need new 2D sequels of great games like Fantasy Zone, Alex Kidd MW, Shinobi, Wonderboy, Monsterland, Golden Axe, Phantasy Star, Shining Force, SoR, etc.

60fps 1080p non-polygonal remakes bundled with original sequels of sprite scalers would also be nice.

I think the 1st thing that would honestly need to be done is to let Sega know that a reboot doesn't warrant a AAA re-imagining right away. Take baby steps with small pseudo budget titles in the respective franchises to test waters and potentially grow, and then work your way up from there.

This is honestly Why I think Sega is so afraid to touch other IP's because it feels the need to Golden Axe Beast Rider them.

We need a new Sonic game.
