hmm no, no we don't.

The only thing Sega needs is a kick in the ass. The only thing they were ever good at was making new games or refining existing ideas. This whole sequelitis thing doesn't suit them and makes them just another cruddy third party developer.
I would love to play remakes of Phantasy Star I to IV; preferably in HD 2D.
Would also like for them to make more, new, Phantasy Star games that are not MMORPGs.
A Prequel, or Sequel, to Skies of Arcadia, taking place mostly on the surface of the planet, could be pretty sweet.
even if they do they wil invariably fuck it up one way or the other (sadly)
Hopefully, maybe someday when Sega isn't trying to turn everything into a cash cow, we may someday yet see these franchises again. Even if in limited capacity, and hopefully untouched, or unsoiled.
currently though id love to see more from their 90's arcade days and the saturn library
I agree with that. Bought LA machineguns and NY Gunblade at full price, day 1, never regret it. Ocean hunter, panzer dragoon and all these others if they ever get released, will send me into a celestial shock of joy.
http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/pos...-2-collection/ is a step in the right direction
but moar sega we want moar !
not just the usual suspects
still its a step in the right direction and hopefully its a test balloon for sega to gauge interest for these titles
SoJ actually made a shit ton of remade games for the PS2 just that most of them remained in Japan. And when we got a budget release of them the media bitched and complained about. For 29.99 and 10 games with PSx quality graphics was a steal IMO.

^^ You mean the various Sega Ages remakes? Problem is the vast majority of those were total crap. Like Sega handed them off to their amateur division. One time i tried to make myself play through their 3D Golden Axe and....uggghhhhh! So bland and clumsy. Stages dragged on waaay too long also.
Basically these were like the gaming equivalent to asylum film's mockbusters. Poor imitations of the real thing.
Edit: Except Alien Syndrome. That one was surprisingly decent.
