There is a popular saying that all publicity is good publicity. But in this case, I have to make an exception. Nintendo always had the right to file copyright claims on videos featuring "let's plays" of their games but I think taking action at this point in time was a mistake. In my opinion, it was not the most oportune time: Nintendo's Wii U console has garnered a wave of negative publicity since it launched late last year and this decision will only yield more negative opinions of the Nintendo brand. It's not a mart move when you are still trying to get a sizeable number of consumers to buy your product. :?
