Good dodging skills are key! I try and grab the one somersaulting when she lands, as the one doing flying kicks will often hit you. After she's dead the other one switches between flying kicks and somersaults.
Well, I do not really know what to tell you so I will tell you this..... keep moving around to avoid getting hit. I personally do not think they are too terribly tough but in contrast I think those fat guys that spit fire..now those guys are hard in my opinion.
There are far too many eneimes in the original Streets of Rage which have too many cheap moves. Mr X being the worst of all of the lot.
Yea, I would have to totally agree on that, but it is still a great game though!
IIRC, I jumped around kicking to kill them.
I'm just not too keen on SoR1 anymore when there's 2 and 3.
I recall you can also you your "back attack" to knock them on their ass when they try and walk up behind you and slam you on the ground.

Watch their shadows. When they jump they move forwards and backwards, if you move to their level you can hit them when they land.
Yes. This is what I do and it's always worked for me, even when they're both there. I've found it works best when you're playing as Blaze.Quote:

All hint guides in the Genesis era, probably copying from each other, say to use the back attack, which I could never do properly. This is how I defeated them:
While the women are on the right, stay horizontally somewhat on the left, and vertically in the middle of the available vertical area. If you go too far up or down, it won't work.
One woman will walk towards you. Just stay where you are and continuously punch. She'll walk right into your punch, and then leap back. The damage is not a lot, but it adds up.
One woman will jump at you. If you jump straight up and kick, you'll get her every time.
Keep doing this until they die. Though it's been so long that I don't remember details like whether there's any problems doing this the second time, or whether it's always the same one who walks and the same one who jumps.
I just press A+B together whilst keeping your back to them, which performs the back handed fist, they never dodge it and it sends them flying! And just keep dodging the kicks and throws. Simple when you know how.
You mean B+C, Harry. A summons your cop friends.
You can choose which buttons to what.
The best way would be to say "push Attack+Jump together".
