With the Xbox One, you truly have an all in one solution for families that allows for what was previously managed by multiple boxes and consoles to have a centralized hub where it's accessible by the entire family. Movies, social media, gaming, television - it's all right there and ready for you to access at a moments notice. While this isn't exactly what the core gamer wants (myself included), it's a nice step forward into the digital era, and can really change the way we view all content in our lives for years to come. I don't see this as a new gaming console as much as I see it as a new interactive way station to allow complete and instant communication to anyone, any time, anywhere across the world. Will I be buying one at launch? Probably not - like I said, I'm a gamer first and foremost - but I am intrigued by the tech behind the console, and what it can offer to the mass public.
