Just because your friends say it sucks doesn't mean you won't like it. I also see that you have stated you have never got through the game. Maybe you should just play it and ignore both sides of the argument then come up with your own verdict. I believe you have no right to criticise a game you have not really played, and only going by what your friends say. They may be right, you may not like the game. What I am saying is you should not always do what your friends say, you may be missing out on a good game.
Also I have to say that I am pretty excited about Blue Dragon for the Xbox 360. Yes, Dartangnan it is not a Square-enix game. It is made by the same creaters on Chrono Trigger (yes, that also means that the guy that made FF is helping to make this game.)
This goes out to nate, I love FFX, I guess some people cannot handle change. Alot of people scoffed at Final Fantasy XII for the change in the battle system, I personally like it. It's nothing revolutionary, but I think it ended some of the tendum of past FF games.
