Game over for used games???

Well looks like the extra charge for playing used Xbox One games has been officially debunked.......................for now. If Microsoft is were smart, they would do everything to discredit any negative press, and it appears to be happening now. I think Microsoft just and panicked started some fast internet clean up. I simply don't trust Microsoft's greedy little hands.

This sounds alot more plausible than the rumours about paying an extra fee in order to play used games. People fail to realize that a billion dollar company like Microsoft will not purposefully capitulate to it's competitor(s) by making idiotic decisions that will harm it's position in the market. :|

Still sounds like it could be screwed with in a way and lead to a lot of pissed of consumers. I foresee a lot of "error in authentication process" messages in the near future.

Yeah, whatever they come up with won't be pretty.

People just confused things, there was never any fee for used games. You're given the option of paying for your own install in case a friend gives you a CD. That CD is useless unless you either: Log into his account, pay the fee, or he first uninstalls from his system (allowing you to install for free).

Sound much more plausible than the hyperbolic bureaucracy that's been going around on how Xbox One has already failed and PS4 has won when Sony hasn't said a GOTDAMN thing about the console's features.
