I had this particular megaman song stuck in the head for the past 2 days. Must share.

I selected a bunch of arcade tracks and made a few videos with cheesy transition effects.
^ Awesome J-music once again.
I wonder how many people realize that PC game music was actually this much better back when it was still being composed in general midi.

Speaking of old PC Game music:

Everything sounds better on the MD.
I always wanted to get a package from Supersweep

How is it?
Sounds weird tbh, like an acid trip or something.
Sounds like You used some kind of heavy flanger on it.
Took out the flange, rearranged a few channel presets,

The remix of Knights of Legend from Thunder Force II included as a bonus track in Dragon's Fury is absolutely fantastic.

The best version of Balrog's stage song.
Sunsoft NES games from late in the console's lifespan use the DPCM channel to playback bass samples, resulting in a really unique sound. Gimmick! uses this trick to full effect, and adds a General Instruments AY-3-8910 sound chip, creating much deeper and richer music than any other game on the system, except maybe Lagrange Point.

I found this the other day.
How could a cute-em-up, have such badass, and thoroughly epic boss battle music?:

Awesome TFIII remixes. What is an Omake theme?

I'm leaning towards the first remix a little more, but I wish it had the bass of the second remix.
My fascination with that guy lasted all of a couple of hours, then I saw all of the mainstream and only mainstream games he does and that he never even comes close to branching out. Where is my Technosoft acapella!?

Not a Sega game most obviously, but probably the most EPIC pieces of remixed music for a game, ever.

I know it's been around awhile but I was completely awestruck when I heard it.
That guy doesn't sound much like a YM2612
Or atleast cover good mainstream stuff. We want Gradius!!!

I have never played this game but I can't help but listen to the above track and find it somehow sentimental. If anyone has the time or interest, the credits to this game of the stage space panning in the empty dark with dimming lights as this track plays is hauntingly beautiful in its simplicity that I feel like it's a moment of 1994 captured in time and I've just happened to discover it. That probably sounds silly but I don't know how else to describe it...
I've grown addicted to finding Genesis versions of NES songs:
