Then you point out that you don't dump anything with your flash cartridge, you dump it with a totally different device, which is a complete contradiction to what you just said. Dude, I don't care what you do with your flash cartridges or anything else that you own. What irks me is that every time a discussion on a forum pops up about any type of technology like that (grey-market tech) and somebody points out the elephant in the room, there's always a group of people that feel like they have to trot out these moth-ridden excuses to somehow justify what they do. Do whatever you want to do, but don't feel like you have this sense of entitlement or holier-than-thou attitude where you're so different and aloof from the unwashed masses who *GASP* play commercial ROMs on their flash carts.

Yes you are trolling, if you don't care what people do with their flash carts then why the fuck are you even posting. Yes I screwed up in my post, was meant to say to play backups of my games. Not to backup my games (was talking about my Mega everdrive).

I don't justify piracy, because I do not pirate. As for anyone else that does, thats their problem, not mine nor yours. which for some strange reason you and a few others are automatically assuming that everyone is, that sir is called flawed logic.

I do not have a Holier-than-thou attitude, I just pointed out that not everyone justifies buying a flash cart just to pirate games, their are quite a few of us that do not.

Are you serious ? Genesis has so many sonic hacks, music videos (bad apple), star fox demo, chillys 32 x Wolf3d, sor hacks, homebrew art, homebrew games (pier solar) homemade games it's ridiculous. There is a sega cd sonic megamix and apps being made like avi player. What does snes have ? Road avenger, mario hacks and what, upcoming project y ?

I think he's referring to all the import snes rpgs that people translate and all the domestic ones that they retranslate.

Genesis has more hacks, Snes has more translations.

Which is easy to explain, Snes had a lot of Japan exclusive rpg's while Genesis had a lot of.. bad rpg's that nobody cares about,
and from what I've heard its muuuuuch easier to hack Genesis roms then Snes.

I went to romhacking.net and looked up SNES hacks and got 290 results. Genesis hacks gave me 137 results. I looked up SNES translations and got 247 results. Genesis translations gave me 31 results, some of which are also re-translations. :p
