Well, as much as I love kitsunenight I'm going to have to side with semmie on this one. The title clearly says "A new sega is more than possible". Nothing in this thread says a new system is happening, just says it's possible. This thread isn't misleading, if you don't like it, just post in other threads.

Moron COO's like Simon Jeffrey and Mike Hayes scoffed at the idea of SEGA doing hardware again, idiots like them crushed dreams several years ago, but thankfully their no longer at SEGA. One of the things that I think SEGA wants to see now compared to 5 years ago is petitions and demands for them to get back into hardware. If definitely would result in a different response this time around considering all the paperwork SEGA has been filing recently.

SEGA also needs to completely fire just about everyone at SOA & find new people. I personally think that its now possible with the problems EA is having to get Peter Moore back. Management wise, SOA still needs to be fixed.

The biggest thing SEGA obviously needs to change is their global image. People would probably begin to respect thier legacy if SEGA started showing them that they are STILL the same SEGA that cares about their previous consoles and classic games.


As for true actual SEGA fans, I credit our faith in the fact that SEGA is the ONLY former hardware company STILL going. They aren't dead, they're alive and kicking. Personality I think the idea of people believing that the SEGA of today is a shell of its former shelf are just spouting sour grapes. Try spouting that to Japanese fans. They would tell you that SEGA does pretty much care about its legacy and is STEADFASTLY protecting Saturn and Dreamcast and many of its old IPs.

The time has come to ask SEGA to be asked the question they were asked half a decade ago, I bet everybody the answer and response will be MUCH DIFFERENT than previously.

I really don't care about you spouting these new console conspiracy theories really, though I think they're absolutely ridiculous and I can see why everyone is getting really tired of it.

I think a true sega fan can be classified as anyone who enjoys something that sega has done, whether that be in the past or present.

I'd like to think I'm a true sega fan because I love all their hardware. I haven't really cared much about them since they stopped making hardware, but that shouldn't bar me from being a true sega fan. Being a fan is different than blindly praising everything they do.

however ever since my father bought me a sega master system. thatwas the day i never looked up to other console havers anymore. i invited my friends to play cuber shinobi and sonic. and they were amazed how the sms had better music and graphics then the nes

my life was good and even tho there was megadrive the sms still made games. i was a proud owner. untill one day my father bought me the megadrive with sonic 1 and then after samurai shodown. i would be thinking about my megadrive all day. even at school my eyes got watery and like marbles they were starring and shining in the sun thinking of it to beat amakusa of samurai shodown.

because of u i never looked at woman and never really followed the fashion geeks. i was down and had baggy pants and my skateboard was my thing outside. the more games i had the prouder. and guess what sega i still play streets of rage.
i never beat that game on mania mode. but i still try. sega please dont ignore me. i am your special one.

when saturn came out my father was sadd that he couldnt afford it. it was a price tag to high. at that time it was 1200 guilders = 800 euros, and at that time that was to big money. i actually cried that i had to miss it. as days months went by
my friends started to purchase sony. but i was still with my megadrive. i started to learn what rpg was. before i was a fighter.
that saturn was still there in the stores. but sony took over the store and there was just one small part in the corner for sega left.

guess what sega u could find me there in the corner begging to play megaman 8 on it. the store got fed up with me and i was no longer allowed to play there. that was my last source of sega saturn cause my friends had sony and i never wanted that stupid console. i started collecting games the last one collecting i remember was maximum carnage of the megadrive.

after a long silent and during that period no one or at least almost no one had internet. there was internet in librarys. and u would pay a large sum for one hour internet. and it was slow as well

and i saw a white sega. it was white ??????? where was theblackness. but i loved sega regardless. this old dreamcast rumor took a year or 2 and i was allready 18 or so. i bought the dam thing with my first salary i got from my work. i didnt buy tricelon or any other debute game

i bought tony hawks skateboarding to show the sony mofo that it was nicer then the sony one. my life was good. i felt good cayuse they were good games
i felt bad cause i red how sega did in management. sega u could have won this battle with sega. cause everybody started to buy dc. ii just didntunderstand why u stopped
