game ads

i was cleaning up my photobucks libraries and game across my game ads folder
a folder with game ads from various ( mostly 1980's and 1990 marvel comics ) comics
and i was wondering if people here would be interested in seeing them

and anybody ever used the turbo touch 360 ?

I actually owned a turbo touch 360 for the genesis. The d-pad was super unresponsive and resulted in having to push about 10 times harder than a regular controller for it to register.

The funny part is that while it claimed you wouldn't get thumb blisters anymore, the only controller that ever gave my thumbs blisters was that one.

On the topic of the tiny NES screenshots I remember a lot of Atari adds used to have either artwork or just a picture of the box or something. Occasionally you would get a screen shot of somebody playing the game being advertised but that was uncommon and usually you only saw that when the console itself was being advertised. When a game was being advertised they often just relied on fancy artwork and a picture/drawing of an Atari VCS to let you know it was an ad for a video game.

One bizarre case that comes to mind is the ad for Spider-Man for the 2600. It used artwork instead of screenshots but had a fairly accurate representation of the in game graphics which kind of defeated the purpose.

at least not from me i havent seen any game ceral ads and the only shirt ads i have seen are from club nintendo
