i never cared much for tekken its choppy and slow

The fighting system depth is very basic and the game seems to have always made a big deal about graphics and visuals. Plus the characters are VERY bland and forgettable.

This thread is full of noobs and button mashers who don't know jack sh!t about fighting games, that's all I got say.
Forgive us because we are not as good as you are sir.
I really like all 3 titles, but I'm more partial to tekken 2
Tekken 3 on PlayStation is my all time favorite. Couldnt stop playing that game.
Can't count how many times I was close to clearing all the characters and unlockables before my battery died or I used a poorly made Memory Cart like "Interact Memory Card Plus".
I seriously need to buy a backup PAR 5 in 1 for my Japanese Saturn. (Already got one for the old American one.)
As some who owns SFA2(Dare you to beat Akuma/Gouki on perfect with medium difficulty. Beyond impossible. ),SFA3, and who's played Marvel VS Capcom( A pain in the ass to play on the standard Dreamcast pad and its hard as nails to beat) I beg to differ.
Tekken is for noobs. Its slow, awkward, unbalanced and too easy to play. I consider Virtua Fighter more challenging than Tekken.
I consider virtua fighter to be one of the most difficult and technical fighters ever made.
I use to be able to do that, can't now. When you mainly play against human opponents the CPU seems almost easy mode. Its been so long since I've really played fighters and the condition of my hands make it to where it would be hard for me to be that good again.
I used to play Virtua Fighter on my Genesis 32x until it damn near overheated.
By time Virtua Fighter 2 struck the arcades, I was expecting polygon greatness with the Genesis title and I instead entered a world of utter 2D frustration.
After skipping the Saturn, Virtua Fighter 3tb on the Dreamcast was totally lackluster as there was a certain element of fun missing from it that made the entire experience less than bearable; the difficulty in the tedious move-list was awkwardly orchestrated and constant ring-outs bred by unbelievably small arenas completely underwhelmed my expectations. Also, the injustice of having my favorite character Jacky looking like a blonde 1997 Michael Jackson really crossed the line for me.
After two years I hadn't bothered to try the demo disc that was packaged with my Dreamcast and luckily, out of sheer boredom, discovered Dead or Alive 2. Wow. Everything about Dead or Alive 2 was designed beautifully: the responsive environments, move reversals, tag throws and nicely rendered cut-scenes. I could dive deeper but simply put: Dead or Alive 2 was sheer brilliance. I'm really glad I happened upon DOA2 as I had pretty much stopped buying/playing newer games after 2000.
Tekken never appealed to me. I've only played 1,2, and Tag - very cool story line but as previously mentioned, game play always felt rather static with glorified juggling chain moves. Just not my cup of tea.
I vividly remember seeing a demo for Fighters' Megamix at Toys R' Us and thinking: "WHOA! Virtua Fighter vs Fighting Vipers!" I was so pumped that it wasn't until after I left I thought: "Who the heck are Fighting Vipers?"
