I agree that Gamestop is a business, but as a business with terrible practices, I ensure that I never do business with them. A business transaction has to have some amount of fairness, or be beneficial to both parties. Just because people are willing to be robbed blind doesn't mean a business practice is acceptable. It just means there are too many stupid people in the world.
I never sell to these guys, and only buy things out of the bargain bin (like sub-$10 games). The prices they charge for used games are not much less than new, and oftentimes I can find new games for less than their used prices.
Some day gaming will go all digital, for better or for worse, and Gamestop will likely be unable to adapt their business and go the way of Blockbuster, as someone mentioned before. I will not be sad to se them go.
