You say that like its a bad thing!

Seriously coming here is like a breath of fresh air. People argue here sure, but people here at least try to work things out like men before running to the mods.
Kind of reminds me of the Sega Forums and it's mods. I was recently given a warning against my account for simply pointing out another user was trolling the Nintendo Section.
Well it's a good thing that you (translation: u) aren't a mod because then this place would be overrun with spam. I do not give warnings to spammers especially those that are trying to dodge the system and going against what I posted in the Site and Forum Feedback forum. According to your (translation: ur) logic someone can get away with doing lots of bullshit, just as long as he doesn't do the same bullshit 3 times. That's way too liberal for me and we have way too much spam to worry about. Ignoring spam is not an option and I recognize spam when I see it.
Its in a tin with yellow writing that says spam. Vikings love it.
That's what we have duels for! En garde!

Really, the problem with most forums is too many moderators and too many people wanting to wield power and show the users "who's boss" by throwing their weight around to lock threads, stifle conversations, and ban users for no reason.
Shit, it's an internet forum, it's bullshit to begin with, why even try to moderate bullshit into subcategories of bullshit? Why say stuff like "Don't bump threads", "don't go off-topic", who really gives a fuck? Nobody does that in real life. That's like having a conversation with a person/people and talking occurs and when something old comes up, someone goes and says "Oh don't talk about that." or when someone talks about something totally irrelevant someone else says "Sorry we're only talking about X." Like, what the fuck?
I say just let them talk....
Why is it "bad" to bump old threads?
I dont see a problem with it If you have something relevant to add to the original discussion. Its like archiving information at an appropriate place.
The only issue is when some noob doesnt check the date and responds to a years dead thread as if it still was an ongoing discussion.
^
and then usually with a one word response
or something totally irrelevant that ads nothing other then i agree
Do people really make that much money trolling forums with spam? Get a real job losers.
Well look at it this way. Your first banning was in 2013! I think my first banning was in 2004.
I don't think I've ever actually been banned from any forum, come to think of it.
I've never been banned from a forum, but I have quit quite a few (and returned to one).
Join the club. Neo-geo.com bans people for almost anything. They are an extremely cliquey group and love to argue. It is almost impossible to assimilate. They love their expensive carts and have been had recently with fake carts. The Drama over there is unmatched anywhere I have seen on the internet, a true force to behold.
This site is indeed awesome, Political Correctness can suck a dick as far as I am concerned. Great ideology here.
Love Sega, Hate political correctness... and hipsters. Also love Sega-16. Happy to make my first post here after reading for 2-3 years

oh that would have been dreamwave and dull surprise
for those wondering ( all 3 of you ) this is dull surprise >> http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Dull_surprise
It started before Dreamwave, back in the Beast Machines days but it was pretty out of control until about 2004.
I never really got into it, but only for funs. Its still even kinda bad more recently when Don Murphy and Michael Bay opened their own forums and let anyone join. After a couple of months they were overwhelmed by the hate of the new Transformers movies and had to suspend registrations.Quote:
How in gods name can you argue over transformers?
I loved Transformers, grew up with Generation 2, I still have the toys in a box in my parent's basement; which are going with me to the grave.
Beast Wars on the other hand - hated it. The play-value in an animal robot was tosh compared to a car or tank. I think I used to pretend to like them so family had something to give me for birthdays.... sold them all, bought a copy of Musha.

Blew. My. Mind.
Yes that was something and it is true the first season was really blah. It ramped up and when the writers added the G1 stuff into the show it became very popular, especially once Ravage appeared and also Season 3 looked really nice. It was Beast Machines that people couldn't stand. The whole vehicles vs animals thing was still there, but Japan didn't do Beast Machines (BM), they only got it later. They made a cartoon again featuring G1 type guys, even recolored Bruticus. And BM started and it didn't mesh well with the end of Beast Wars, the Maximals morphed instead of transforming, Optimus Primal turned into a religious zealot/nutcase AND the worst was that Cybertron was actually an organic planet.
Where does Optimus Prime's Trailer go when he transforms! How does Megatron become the size of a weapon when he transforms?! Don't say subspace pockets or you are obviously a noob.
"How does Megatron become the size of a weapon when he transforms?!"
Obviously he's full of hot air when he's full sized.
