Well, the Sony fans always amaze me in every new gen by taking pre-orders from a company which delivered almost-already-breaking-broken consoles from day one.

For those of you who are getting the PS4, what games are you looking forward to playing? The one game that I am certain will sell the console is The Last Guardian but SONY has yet to declare a release date. Even though I haven't preordered the console, I am excited to hear gamers give their overall opinion of the console!

I haven't ordered the PS4 yet either, but there are a couple games I'd like to try of the top of my head:

The Witness: The developer is an eccentric type, but I've been aching to try this puzzler. The secluded island environment is ethereal and surreal. I'm really curious about it.

Octodad: It's straight up weird looking, but I like it that way! The concept of it is so whimsical and vintage cartoon-like.

Empty and meaningless? Dude, what the hell are you talking about? I do as I choose with the money I work for and earn. I have a descent job, a house, cars and a loving family. It's perfectly in my right to buy whatever the heck I please. I happen to like video games old school and current/next gen. So what gives with the "hater-aide"? Someone is purchasing a luxury that you deem unnecessary should not send you into a emotional meltdown. You sound like a jealous woman upset over an expensive purse that some other woman just bought. Man up. As much as I despise the WiiU, I've never insulted anyone over purchasing one. Heck, when Bayonetta 2 drops I'm getting a WiiU.

The game is not cancelled for good. Sony nor the developers have declared that. Interestingly last night at the Spike TV PS4 special Yoshida was asked had he played it using a DualShock 3 or DualShock 4 and Yoshida replied “I don’t recall” while smiling. So there is still hope.

BTW, UPS finally dropped off my PS4. I'll post impartial impressions later tonight. Stay tuned. :mrgreen:

I've heard of such stories. I was lucky got my ps3 day one and it was good to go. Lasted for years and my second and third are still doing well.

Hopefully, development of the game is not halted. WIth respect to The Witness or Octodad I've not heard of either title but will up info regarding those 2 games.

So Lan Di, time for you to give us the score on the PS4! ;)
