The original Virtua Fighter was a Model 1 Arcade game. Which in itself was crap. JAMMA goers in 1993 made this loud and clear to SEGA how primitive Model 1 was and how cutting edge Model 2 was.Quote:

Nintendo's showing was by far the worst. Super Mario 3D World seems terrible compared to the original Mario Galaxy on Wii in 2007. It's funny how Sonic Lost World is more like Mario Galaxy than Mario 3D World.
Only Mario Kart 8 looked decent. I was massively disappointed that Retro Studio's new game is another damn DKC game. That's what really killed Nintendo's showing IMO. LoZ Wind Waker HD looks alright but I'd rather see an HD remake of Twilight Princess (my fav Zelda game despite the hate it gets). As for Super Smash Bros for Wii U, too much of it was pre-rendered CG.
Vita looks dead. Xbox 360 and PS3 still look strong. I'm hoping Dragon Quest VII 3DS will get localized.
As things stand right now, my gaming machines will be:
-Highend gaming PC
-PS4
-3DS
Final note: I'm a multi-format gamer, I will eventually pretty much every gaming device (possible exceptions: Xbone, smartphones/tablets). I eventually get almost every one from each generation.
Yet there's a Model 1, Model 2, and Model 3 Arcade machine running their respective Virtua Fighters in the Smithsonian because of how groundbreaking their hardware was.Quote:

honestly all i have this gen is 3ds. im not planning to buy neither of those. when you think of it the games still look like ps3 and 360 we all know the systems are more powerfull than the game evolution. it always takes time. but pls be awakened cause it this moment there is no real spiritual game that gets in your vains. in fat these same games with the same engines and the same setup back to back. it annoys me a lot. funny is that 3DS somehow makes me happier. resident evil revelations is good. aint playing that no mo on ps3
