I just bought Wonder boy III CIB and it seems to sell for about 20-25 USD
I dunno, but if you still have that SEGA power strip in a few days, I would be happy to take it off of your hands.
I would also gladly take that Sega Power strip and curious about what you'd want for just the master system itself.
@Raja--I've just put a SMS up for sale on my sale thread if you'd like to check it out.
http://www.sega-16.com/forum/showthr...-sale-or-trade
Just shot you a PM for the SMS.
Thanks for the interest but I have no idea what anything is worth other than that Wonderboy III game. Why dose everyone want the power strip and what is it worth?
What Raja said. It's a cool item, but it's not a moon rock. Whatever you feel it's worth is what you should sell it for. Cheers!
C'mon, be honest with the guy. I've seen those power strips sell over $100 before because they're so uncommon.
For the Master system as a bundle I'd put it at about $250-$300 on the high end. The real standouts are the Wonder Boy games and the 3D glasses (missle defense 3D is awesome!)
I'd put the Genesis 3 with hookups and such at maybe $25-$35.
These are rough estimates on what I've seen similar stuff sell on ebay at, but you have to remember they take about 20% off the top with fees and such. Forums sale prices tend to be lower, but you have a better targeted audience.
Thank you for that info
I found an ebay auction for the Power Strip that ended last month for $131 is that about what they are going for?

Someone paid $131 for a power strip? Yeah I would never pay that or even 1/5 of that. Ridiculous. But I hope you do find someone to buy it at that price because that's some nice coin.
I don't think that Master System would sell for $300 because its not in the original box (maybe as a bundle $150-$200). The 3D glasses and 3D games could get a nice bit on their own. The complete games would sell well individually. The ones missing manuals would be best grouped with the system probably.
Is it better to piece it out or to sell it in a single lot? Most people would probably say to piece it out for maximum profit if thats your goal. If its to get rid of it in one transaction you'll probably make less money overall.
Do you have any proof of them selling for that amount of money? Anyone can say that they've "seen" something go for a certain dollar amount, but without proof of that claim, it really doesn't have any merit. I can tell you that I will not pay more than $15-$20 for something like that. It would be a cool thing to have, but I'm not gonna shell out that kind of dough for a power strip with some letters on it.
To the OP--When you ask a question like you're asking, you're gonna get all kinds of opinions and that's just what they are...opinions. To get the real value of your items, the only thing you can really do is scrub eBay's completed listings to see what folks actually paid for them. Honestly, sell it for what you want for it and see if someone buys it. If not, reduce the cost to an acceptable level in your eyes and if you still don't get a buyer, keep it.
The person who paid $131 for that strip is either a SERIOUS collector or someone with more cents than sense.
I agree it's a ludicrous amount to pay for a power strip that may be of questionable quality, but that's the going rate. I wasn't trying to rail on you guys too badly ;) it's just I've seen people come in and ask for pricing on stuff and get very leading prices because someone wants that item at a low price. We really should have a "What's it Worth?" subforum.
I think to get the most out of the SMS you should break out some of the desirable stuff to sell separately, then sell the console and some cheapy/loose games as a bundle since they'll never move on their own.
