That's a pretty bold statement there. But if I was the rift devs I'd look to leverage the system on both consoles (and maybe even the wii-u)
I think the rift + kinect has a LOT more potential to do some pretty awesome things personally.

Voice controls + hand tracking and other kinect features and even + controller if you like offers a hell of a lot more capability than the PS4 would bring.
Although yes, the treadmill thing + kinect 2.0 + rift has a LOT of potential. And I'm assuming they will probably have a kinect 2.0 for PC released at some point (or more homebrew drivers) so it's certainly a set up we are likely to see someone play with on the PC.
Kinnect + controller could work, controller for normal play, voice+gestures to give commands to squad mates. Other than that, not much use. Having to take your hands off the controller to do silly gestures would ruin immersion, and "kinnect games" and the rift don't mix.
You can already get insane precision using two regular kinnects, one thing that could come out of all of this would be the next generation of arcades, designed for total immersion (soundproof rooms, threadmill, rift, pressure suits). It would be paintball without all the bruising.
