Oh, I already figured that much. It's almost always connected to someone you know or a neighbor or such. This isn't my first rodeo. I already confirmed that the motorcycle was taken about an hour after I left the house, to leave town. I had a second witness say that the bike was gone the next morning (5am), which backs up the first claim. I left a little bit before 6pm, which there was plenty of light out. So, they didn't wait till night time to take the bike. I already have someone that I suspect might be involved, though they're too stupid to pull it off themselves.

I have a back yard, but it's too much of a pain in the ass to put it back there. Hey man if it makes you feel better, you weren't the only guy that got robbed this year.

QUICK STORY:

A few months ago, after my mom got her tax returns, she wanted to take me out for a little celebration. After getting something nice to eat, she wanted to stop by this Amazon store to get some new nursing clothes for herself (She works with disabled children). After ONLY 15 minutes of being inside the store, we go out and couldn't to find her car. Man she starting panicking, crying, I honestly didn't what to do other than wait for the cops to arrive and keep her calm. It's been a LONG time since I've seen her that upset. Luckily though her insurance was not only able to give her a very nice rental car for the time but a check that had gave her much more than she was hoping to get after trying in selling the car. The car was pretty old and didn't offer much other than the driving. A few days later she met someone selling a pretty nice car that had stuff like the radio and air conditioner working for an awesome price. She used the check on it and now she's driving a much better car than she did before. She also really loves how good the air conditioner works on it. So I guess it all turned out for the better at the end and I''m sure it well for you too.

The cops did end up finding the car, nothing valuable inside but her insurance copy legally owned it now after handing her the check. We didn't care at all :P

Update..

It's been almost two months now. Bike was never recovered. Geico just cut me a check for the old bike this past friday. Bought 2004 Ninja zx-6r yesterday. The power that bike has, is pretty damn scary.

Hard part about cars and bikes is that most of the time these days someone stealing one will take it straight to a chop shop to sell it for parts, and you can forget about finding it after that. Sorry to hear about that.

That's what I've heard. Much easier than trying to get a fake title. Plus, parting it out makes more money and isn't really traceable.

I'd be scared to ride a scooter in this town. There's no difference between crashing/getting hit at 40mph if you're on a scooter, moped, or motorcycle. At least with the motorcycle, louder exhaust (aftermarket) helps a little bit and the ability to gun it to get out of situations also helps a bit. Though on the flip side, it's harder to stop a heavy motorcycle than a lighter bike. This bike is 60lbs heavier than my older ninja, and I can feel the difference. It's not as nibble as the 250r.

I took 'er out for a couple of hours. Rides beautiful. I haven't opened her up (red line is 15k), only took it out to 9k at a few points. For a heavier bike, it handles quite nice :D
