What was that about Sega Orbi's upcoming hardware?

So the OP's argument makes zero sense and I'm not even going to argue why, but by pointing out the these domain name are proof that the "Orbi" brand can and will be used for anything.

The three games are Sonic: Lost Worlds, an unknown title that may be a Sonic racing game, and probably the next Sonic & Mario At the Olympics title.

Silver lining is Wii U is a disaster and even the Lost World announcement didn't make a dent in its poor sales.(May NPD numbers are in indicator that it didn't increase demand at all.)

So what makes people think this is going to save the console?

Because so far, its only getting those who already own the failure interested.

The true test will be after mid-2014 after games like Smash Bros, X, Bayonetta 2, Mariokart 8, Super Mario 3D World, Sonic Lost World, Wind Waker HD, etc. come out. No one is going to run out and buy a console when the games they want wont be out for another 6-12 months.

The PS4 and Xbox One as well as other more viable platforms will already be out by then.

The Wii U is doomed and June NPD sales(despite the bad press of Xbox One) should pretty much confirm it.

Nintendo's reluctance to price cut the console, knowing very well how dismal its sales are shows just how out of touch they are and how people keep making excuses for this weak-hardware,gimmicky bull.

Fixed that for you. People said the exact same thing about the 3DS. Down to the very last word of that brainless statement. Hell, even the original DS also had a slow start. It took at least a year for the 3DS's first big hits to come out, then the system began to pick up steam. Right now it's very successful.

Trekkies is correct, the Wii U hasn't had its big titles yet, nobody can say it has failed yet.

Since there are a bunch of sega fans, and they're logo is on Wii games, will Nintendo put a SEGA logo on the Wii U's to get some customers?
I would totally buy one then.

Did you bother to read that link? It's for some kind of museum, in partnership with BBC Earth. I don't see any game consoles.

Read the NPD sales for the rest of the year and I'll get back to you on that. It's already July and they don't seem to be improving at all.
