Me and my girlfriend (we were both young) played Smurfs Rescue and others on Atari 2600. 1985.
Had Texas Instruments TI99. 1986. Munch Man.
C64. Jumpman Jr. 1986. Oh okay, consoles only well then...fuck it saw TFTM 1986 yeah !
Then I got a Atari 7800. Like 1987. Got Ninja Golf later (89 ?).
SMS. 1988. Zillion.
NES. 1989. Many games.
Genesis. 1989. Altered Beast.
SNES. 1992. SF2 was the only reason. Sold/traded SNES for gas money, a pack of cigarettes and SF2SCE for Genesis.
Game Gear. 1993. Sonic.
Sega CD. 1994. ECCFTDS.
32 X. 1994. VRD.
Saturn. 1995. VF2.
CDX. 1996. 6 in 1.
Nomad. 1996. Vectorman 2.
PS1. 1999. Tekken 3.
DC. 1999. Soul Caliber.
XBox. 2003. Ninja Gaiden.

Anything after that is not worth mentioning imo.

there have been so many ( ive had a orginal bondi blue 233 G3 imac and several 333 Mhz ones and slot loaders including a straw berry 400 mhz and a 700 mhz snow white one )

Computers listed were all purchased new. Consoles were used unless noted. I still have all of the consoles on this list, but as for the computers, only still have the last two, the P4 1500 and the Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz.

1992 (January) - first family PC (386SX, Dos5.0/Win3.0)
1993 (Christmas) - Game Boy (new, original grey model)
1995 (~January) - new family PC (Pentium 90, Dos6.22/Win3.11)
1997 (summer) - new family PC (Pentium 233, Win95 OSR2)
1998 (November & Christmas) - Voodoo2 card for the P233 (listed because it allowed me to play many games I couldn't with the S3 ViRGE that we had before), Game Boy Color (new, transparent purple; this system broke in 2004, but I still have it.)
1999 (September) - Nintendo 64 (and an Expansion Pak for it at Christmas) (new, black system with one grey and one transparent purple controller)
2000 (early?, summer) - new family PC (Pentium 3 800, Win98 SE), Nintendo 64 (got this for reasons not worth mentioning, but it's the same model as my first one, the one with two controllers, one clear purple. I also got an Expansion Pak for it. This system messed up sometime in the early '00s, and is the one I've mentioned that erases some game save files when you turn the power on. I still have it but of course never use it, I use my original one.)
2001 (September & November) - my first PC of my own (P4 1500, WinME), GameCube (new, black system; laser died in 2006, but I still have it.)
2002 (early) - more RAM for the computer (128MB to 384MB)
2003 (summer) - Game Boy Advance (new, translucent purple; died in 2006, but I still have it.)
2005 (summer) - Super Nintendo. Also, somewhere in '03-'04 I also got another hard drive for the computer.)
2006 (January, May, June, September, December) - PSone (the small kind), Genesis 2, Sega CD 2 (came with a broken Genesis 1), replacement GBA (solid purple this time; got because my first one broke), replacement Gamecube (again black, got because my original's laser died in mid '06), and a DVD burner for the computer (previously it had only had a DVD-ROM drive)
2007 (January, February, August) - Nintendo DS (original model), new PC for me (Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz, Win Vista), Dreamcast
2008 (February) - Virtual Boy, NES 2, PlayStation II (original model; I didn't get a memory card for the PS2 until May)
2009 (February, February, July, September, October) - TurboGrafx-16, Saturn, Game Gear (Majesco model), TurboGrafx-CD (bought semi-working, drive still needs repair; invaluable for the AV output and save features though), Sega 32X
2010 (January, April/May, December) - Xbox, Wii (new, black model, with Wii Sports and Sports Resort), Sega Master System (original model)
2011 (June, September?) - Neo Geo Pocket Color, PSP 3000 (black)
2012 (August, Nov/Dec) - Odyssey 2, replacement Nintendo DS (because my first one had many problems). I also got my first HDTV November '12.
2013 (early sometime, April, June) - replacement PSP 3000 (green this time) because my first ones' laser died, Atari 7800, Xbox 360 Slim (new)

Also, sometime between 2008-2010, I got a GBA SP (blue). I forget when. Also, various times I forget 2011 and 2012 I got an original model NES (never could get it to work correctly, even after cutting the security pin and replacing the pin connecter it still is incredibly touchy and games crash all the time, so I stick with the bad-video-quality NES 2), a PlayStation (original style, with the AV output jacks on the back), and two Game Boy Colors, first a clear purple one (with a broken speaker) and in 2012 a green one (with a mostly nonfunctional Start button). I also bought a new PC video card, power supply, hard drives, and RAM in those years, for my PC from '07. And in 2013 I got a new PC monitor.

It was a slot loader, 500MHz. It was a "Dalmatian" color.

Kind of on topic, right now I have a eMac G4 1 GHz. It's got an entire Gigabyte of RAM installed. It's apparently the last model of eMac to have native support for Mac OS 9, without the need for classic mode in OS X. It's a fantastic machine, with very wide software support, as Macs go.

My long term memory is pretty good but mid-term and short-term memory is spotty, at best.

The legend was born in the early 80s with a 4-switch woody Atari 2600. It was technically my father's, but I played the hell out of it. I rode that bad boy out until my First Communion in the Spring of 1989 when I used a portion of my gift money to purchase a Nintendo Entertainment System with the Mario/Duck Hunt cart. I received a Model 2 Genesis with Sonic 2 for my birthday in 1993. When they discontinued the 32x I picked one up at either Toys R Us or Hills, and that was probably sometime in early 96. It cost $30, and I got Virtua Racing and Doom with it for $10 a piece. I bought a Playstation 1 during my freshman year of high school which would've been in '97. My parents bought me a Playstation 2 for Christmas the year it came out which I believe was 2000. It was a compromise because they wanted to use it for DVDs as well. In 2002 a friend of mine sold me his Dreamcast with a big stack of games for $50. Around this same time, my little sister gave me her Super Nintendo as she had just gotten a Gamecube. I bought a slim PS3 in September 2009 when it was released. In early 2010 I bought a Power Base Converter from a guy here on Sega-16 for $30. In late 2010/early 2011 I traded a copy of Power Blade 2 for a Model 1 Sega CD. In Spring 2011 I picked up a Sega Saturn at a used game shop, and I think that is all of them. So, in summation:
